This year's virtual event builds on 12 years of successful Songpreneurs conferences.
What would be the best, most ideal conference for a songwriter? We asked and came up with this answer -
Learning a variety of new skills, getting encouragement, motivation, guidance and opportunities to create - Welcome to the Songwriting Conference -
Attendees are invited to the private discussion Forum where they connect with other conference attendees for collaboration, interaction and assignments followup from our labs, making this the most interactive virtual event you've ever attended.
Sessions are held online and can be accessed via phone, tablet or computer. Live sessions are recorded for later viewing, and after each session is a private, un-recorded Q&A session so that you can feel comfortable having the tough conversations.
In workshop lab practice is provided for skills building, along with out of session optional assignments that can be posted on the forum for comments and feedback.
Schedule of Workshops is as follows:
Day 1 - June 22, 2023
Day one is all about getting in the zone. We begin by flexing our creative muscles and gaining skills for awareness and mindfulness practice that leads to better mental and emotional health as well as generating tons of new ideas for songwriting, business and better quality of life. Hear the story about how Nashville Songwriter Hall of Fame Member Kim Williams came up with the idea for his multiplatinum hit "New Way To Fly" written with superstar Garth Brooks, and practice the technique in the lab. We round out the day by exploring how songwriters use these same creative muscles to write to the hook, and tailor their songs to a target market for greater commercial success.
10AM CT - Turning On & Tuning Up your awareness & mindfulness training for creative professionals - How to awaken and strengthen your creative muscles for better quality of life and art.
2PM CT - Target Writing Techniques how to write to the hook and for any market. Where intention meets skill - tools for building commercial songwriting prowess.

We'll explore how the hit makers have navigated their changing images through the years, and look at 3 principles of singing everyone should know.
