FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Songpreneurs Founder Recognized By United States Department of Labor In Recognition of Personal and Significant Contribution To National Occupational Information Network
Nashville, Tennessee – April 11, 2022 Songpreneurs Founder and 17 times multiplatinum awarded song writer Amanda Colleen Williams received a special recognition from the United States Department of Labor for her “personal and significant contribution to the National Occupational Information Network” regarding her expertise as a Poet, Lyricist and Creative Writer.
Williams was tapped by the Songwriters Guild of America who put out a call in early 2022 seeking experts to participate in updating the Nation’s primary source of occupational information regarding the songwriter profession.
“The songwriting profession has changed a lot in the past 20 years,” said Amanda. “It’s essential today for independents to have strong entrepreneurial skills to be able to survive, whether or not they partner with a publisher.”
The Office of Workforce Investment Employment and Training Administration compiles the information provided from experts who meet their experience criteria to create resources for people thinking about entering those professions.
