Songpreneurs has been helping songwriters since 2013 to find sustainable careers in the new music business.
We do this through a lot of different programs, including some we operate in partnership with the U.S. Department of State and the U.S.P.T.O.
Not just pro songwriters, but learners of all ages from 7 years old to respected copyright judges and dignitaries from all around the world have participated in our programs and benefitted from our no-nonsense, principle-based approach to IP education.
What does this have to do with you and your songwriting?
Well, at the core of it all, songwriters are creators.
Specifically, we create songs that are protected by copyright from the moment they are fixed in our lyric sheets and recording devices.
Copyright is a form of intellectual property or IP, as we call it for short.
As a person who creates IP as a songwriter, you are contributing to the economic growth of the entertainment industry.
Of course, you have to write material that is good enough for people to want to support with their hard-earned dollars.
That’s where the old principle of supply and demand comes in to play.
You write the songs, and then as your skill grows, the demand for your work increases. It’s not magic or wishful thinking. It’s a fact.
What do you want to do about your songwriting?
Do you want to keep doing what you’ve been doing all these years and hope for the best?
Or do you want to step foot onto the path of sustainable progress made the good old-fashioned way – one step at a time?
If you want to see what Songpreneurs does differently, sign up on our email newsletter and start participating.
You can even apply for one of the limited spots in our Songpreneurs Leadership Community to really make progress this next year.
We’re looking to add a few good candidates to our group. Are you the one we’re looking for?

Songpreneurs Leadership Community is a year long program for serious songwriters who want to learn to take control of their own career paths.
We have four courses per year that meet for 8 weeks at a time with a month break in between sessions.
Each course has 8 units that are 1 hour long, and can be joined live via internet or phone, or can be viewed at any time through the calendar year on our online course portal.
Weekly assignments, feedback, and group work is provided for your encouragement, skill building and networking benefit.
We accept a limited number of participants in our Songpreneurs Leadership Community yearly, and current active members get first priority for renewal during our annual October Fall Fest event.
Apply here and we’ll get in touch with you about your next steps.
