Songpreneurs Leadership Community Members have been hard at work this year with a single goal in mind: To put out an original song new release in this calendar year.
Our goal at HQ is 100% achievement from every single member of the Leadership class, and we're close to hitting that target!
Here are a few of the releases so far this year, and some bragging rights for songwriters that made it happen!
NEW RELEASES
Sasquatch In the Northern Woods | Sheldon Tyacke
We had a blast writing and recording this tune at our retreats. Sheldon is one of our longtime Leaders from Canada that pours his heart into his music. Official website SheldonTyacke.com is operated with help from Songpreneurs HQ. Look for his debut album release coming soon!
Blue Star Mothers | JB Stone
Blue Star Mothers is a tribute to JB's real life mother, who, like the lyrics say, has sent over 10,000 packages to active duty military as part of her service work. Splash In the Pan & Bless You Jesus | Brother Randall
This year marks a milestone year for Brother Randall Hicks, a retired veteran who has been trying to get his music out since the 1990s! He found a home with us here at Songpreneurs, and it has been a load of fun and inspiration watching Brother Randall overcome so much adversity, and thrive as a vital member of our little songwriting community that could. Check out his 2 debut singles "Bless You Jesus" and "Splash In the Pan" with a new single coming out before the end of the year!

Some of our Songpreneurs Leaders have been riding the waves of post release excitement as their released albums and songs work their way onto playlists, radio stations and into the hearts of friends and strangers. Here are a few shout outs to:
Appalachia Kid LP | Amanda Colleen Williams
Amanda recently posted a headline "Appalachia Kid LP Celebrates 4th Anniversary" revealing a little behind the scenes of what went into writing and recording the album. Taking heed of lessons learned as a second generation songwriter and demo producer of tunes recorded on the diamond and multi-platinum awarded albums of Garth Brooks (She's Tired of Boys, I Can Be Me With You, Beer Run duet with George Jones), Songpreneurs' founder gives shout outs to Leaders who contributed, and offers a limited time BOGO offer for vinyl + CD formats. Time of Our Life EP | Dennis Polattie
Dennis Polattie released his debut EP in 2023 with tunes written mostly by himself or with frequent collaborator JB Stone. Big congratulations to Dennis on recording two new singles for release coming soon in a new style you'll love! His Spotify curated Dennis Polattie Radio station matches him up with John Prine, Colter Wall and Charley Crockett. Way to go, Dennis! Sometimes Blues EP | Teresa Wright
Teresa Wright is no stranger to music, having toured with The Voice Vern Gosdin on his 1984 If You're Gonna Do Me Wrong, Do It Right Tour before dedicating her life to her IT career. Her singles continue to make their way onto best of playlists and her streams count is going up-up-up in preparation for her upcoming new releases. "Girl Bros" words and music by Teresa Wright and Amanda Williams is the hottest track lately, but our favorite is still "Sometimes Blues" the title track, solo write by Teresa. Prove Em Wrong | Dane Corum
Dane showed up with his first ever release this year, recorded with his band in North Carolina. We're looking forward to lots more releases in this talented songwriter's future.

Pete started his music release journey with Songpreneurs HQ help putting together his brand, Songs of Substance, and his recorded music projects for Medicine or Food, and What You Know, streaming on all platforms since 2022. Write Your Own Song | Lady Alesia Loree Agee
Alesia has been busy working on her music, writing her book, and leading community projects for her congregation at home and abroad. We are SO excited about her upcoming creative projects, and because they're top secret, we can't tell you anything about what's coming up!! Matter, I'm Amazed, Lit Up In Love | Brenda Register
Brenda is one of those songwriters that loves to stay behind the scenes, dutifully writing down her ideas, collecting hooks, lines and rhymes, and putting it all together in well crafted works of songwriting art. Her first commercial releases are starting to come steadily from among her songwriting collaborators and artists in our Songpreneurs Leadership Community, including "Matter" released by Taylor Lewis.
Various works | Jody Faison
Those of you familiar with the Nashville Scene are most likely acquainted with the name Jody Faison. Jody is the driving force behind the original Nashville foodie scene, and culinary hot spots such as: 12th & Porter, Cafe 1-2-3, The Pub of Love, and the beloved Faison's, just to name a few. Nearly every person in Music City owes some kind of gratitude to the MAN, the LEGEND, the almost ready to put some new music out into the world, Mr. Jody Faison, Esquire. In the meantime, you can hear some of his recent work as cowriter of Sheldon Tyacke's debut single, "I Need My Jones," a tribute to The Possum, George Jones.
Texas Soul | Taylor Lewis
Taylor Lewis can be found touring all over Texas as he gears up to release his latest Texas Soul record. Taylor has been working with Songpreneurs for over a decade to develop his songwriting and music business career, while exploring his original artistry on his own terms.
We're super excited to see what this young rising super star has in store for us in the coming months.
