About the event
The morning session focuses on melody writing tips discovered using the Songpreneurs proprietary 7 Steps Song Analysis™ method. Hit songs don't follow the rules, and classics aren't "perfect" songs. This advanced analysis method helps you make sense of what you know, and what you can't help but love.
The Publisher feedback and new model casting brainstorm session is another Songpreneurs innovation. Get constructive comments about your song crafting skills, and practical suggestions for revision or future skill building suggested areas for improvement. Also, get advice on where and how to pitch your song where appropriate, and some new model ways to proactively get your song out there on your own.
The evening session is a Town Hall discussion with noted arranger, songwriter, producer and session pianist Ron Oates. Hear his humorous and inspirational stories of the Nashville Sound recording sessions of the 70s, 80s, 90s, and today. Stay for the Songwriter Salon concert.
