About Conference
The inaugural Songwriting and Music Business Youth Conference 3-day event held June 23 – 25, 2025 is open to current high school students by application and is limited to 40 attendees pursuing tracks in songwriting, live performance and arts entrepreneurship.
Registration Fee
$225 early bird registration $250 after deadline
Students may also apply for need-based scholarships provided by generous area business partners in cooperation with The Heritage Foundation of Williamson County.
The curriculum-based approach, taught by Tier 1 career professionals with over 10k hours experience highlights STEM and ELA Language Arts standards and provides practical experience in music business career paths. The Conference culminates in a live public concert at the Franklin Theatre 6PM Jun 25.

Day 1 –
The first day of the conference is all about immersing students in the world of the career music business professional, accessing training to help them achieve their personal best outcomes in their chosen track, while making connections with like-minded peers.
Day 2 –
The second day of conference expands our specific knowledge about creativity, group work and what it takes to make the music business profitable. Students continue to build skills and knowledge for presenting and performing in the finale concert, while exploring other areas of interest within the music business & live performance landscape.
Day 3 –
The third day is our finale full of excitement and entrepreneurship, show preparations, wrap up skill building sessions and the anticipated public live performance concert for friends, family and community at The Franklin Theatre.
Attendees will come from all experience levels and will be committed to pursuing career paths and skills building for developing excellence and personal mastery objectives as established during application process.
Once your spot has been confirmed by application, you will receive a letter of acceptance with information on payment options.
